Pair of excentric loafers chairs by Vittorio Dassi from the 50's. The legs are flared and taper down quite narrowly, which makes the chairs look sleek-elegant and light-footed. The seat shell with a wooden frame inside is slightly overdrawn and and extended beyond the base. The seat is visually elongated, ending with a slight downward curve and tapers slightly toward the back. The backrest also extends beyond the rear supports and is also slightly tapered. The seat shell is not only made of upholstery material but it has a solid wooden core that gives the shape stability. The base is one piece. The new solid upholstery material gives the seat its round shapes and creates the comfort. The inner plate is not felt when sitting. The legs are black re-ebonized and Pierre Frey's bouclé gives the refined chairs your extravagant, modern look. Dimensions: 52 x 68 x 78cm

Carved Asian Wooden Bench / Settee With Floral Details Myanmar 1920s

Carved Asian Wooden Bench / Settee With Floral Details Myanmar 1920s

Carved Asian wooden bench / settee with floral details Myanmar 1920s The bench may be small, but it is extremely decorative - a pleasure to look at. Straight-lined construction with square feet. The backrest features floral carvings that end in two flanking columns with figures. Turned tenons run vertically downwards from the floral cross-bracing of the backrest to the seat. The surface has been completely cleaned and imperfections repaired, but we have taken care to ensure that the charm of the object is not lost. A wax varnish was applied, the wood color is not equally dark everywhere, but also has slightly lighter areas, which underlines the liveliness of the object. Originally there was only a weave on the seat. This has been cleaned and the connections to the back have been completely renewed in order to achieve absolute seating stability. A loose cushion filled with natural kapok and decorated with buttons was made from a fabric by Pierre Frey in an Asian look, which perfectly matches the look of the bench. 110 x 56 x 92cm

Pair Of Mid-century Italian Armchairs In Turquoise-acqua Velvet By Isa, Bergamo

Pair Of Mid-century Italian Armchairs In Turquoise-acqua Velvet By Isa, Bergamo

Pair of excentric shaped armchairs by ISA, Bergamo 1950s. The lovely Italian design language is underlined by the powdery, soft velvet fabric Martora in turquoise-acqua color by Rubelli, Venezia. The seating comfort is very pleasant due to the high backrest and the seat cushion. The armchair is slim and high and therefore has a light-footed, elegant appearance. The slightly tapered legs were waxed again and are also relatively high also this emphasizes the elegance of the armchairs. The lighter and darker parts of the fabric result from the high floor, which is not always in the same direction and thus creates a lively fabric image and gives the armchair its homely character - the feel of the fabric is soft and flowing. The objects are completely re-upholstered.  It is a pleasure to sit in this armchair - so much comfort and visual appeal. 73 x 65 x 104
Italian Mid-century Coffeetable Brass Plated Iron Base And Glass Top, 1950s

Italian Mid-century Coffeetable Brass Plated Iron Base And Glass Top, 1950s

Light-footed, Italian side table Gueridonin brass plated iron. The base was forged from iron and then brass plated. In the lower part of the rings, the brass layer is already slightly worn and there is an interesting anthracite-gold patina. The table stands on 4 legs, - the feet have slightly overdrawn foot caps. In the swing of the legs are worked 4 rings that emphasize the playful design and combine the look with the round top. The glass top has a 2mm bevel on the edge (undamaged) and is attached to the base by 4 screws. There are 4 ribbed, tapered studs underneath. The screws on the table top are also slightly raised and have a very fine bead decoration on the edge. So the table is very well thought out in terms of lines and fine in its craftsmanship. A beautiful and original mid-century furniture. Dimensions: 68 x 49cm
